So why would I have a business consulting blog?

One key factor of a successful website is frequent updates, and most people would agree that this is best accomplished with a blog. Blog’s are relatively simple to use, and if done well can really allow more interactivity for your website’s guests.

Frequent updates to a blog allow you to explore more topics than a static website, and also encourage frequent re-visits from guests. There are also many different types of themes and plugins available that can really help your blog shine. I decided on a relatively simple theme, because I wanted to develop my business consulting blog with a focus on content instead of character (although there can be plenty of character on YOUR blog!)

The decision to run a business consulting blog is really beneficial. Although this website is relatively new, I have found a blog to be a great way to bring a website to life. As a website owner and administrator for over 10 years I have seen blogging evolve from a simple online-journal style of website to a full blown content management style of website that combines an easy-to-use backend with an extremely wide variety of templates and themes for customization.

Although I am primarily focused on helping design and build websites, I have decided to start a business consulting blog as a way to discuss topics related to running a small business online, some of the challenges that my clients have faced and what we have done to overcome them!

The plans for my business consulting blog will be to include easy to understand information to help ANYONE become successful online. If your goals are to make money online, or to simply just have a website, I believe it can be easy for anyone to have a website, regardless of your technical experience.
